Como no tengo en realidad que contar, ni expresar ni hablar sobre esta semana aburrida (en el fin de semana llegarán las juicy news, I hope) subo una description que hice para el miércoles en la facu. Me tomó bastante tiempo hacerlo. Además la idea de que haya sido sobre un/a amigo/a, que después tenía que ser leída y se tenía que descubrir de quién se trataba me estusiasmó. Igualmente la profesora nunca lo pidió y yo la odie un poco.
Asique le doy algún uso... está buena, me gustó. Acepto feedbacks obviamente.
If you were walking opposite to her, though leaving a fairly long distance, or maybe you encountered yourself in a crowded place where you know there is no way you could possibly catch a glimpse of anyone, you would definitely recognize her. Not because she unfortunately has a prominent nose or has the difficulty to deal with an overweight or underweight body; in fact, it is her slender, average-height silhouette that makes her stand out from others.
Her almond glittering eyes beyond her thin eyebrows turn into a piercing look that can either see through you or in the worst of the cases give you chills. What can also wake up some sort of scary feeling in you is her grumpy mood whenever the day is humid or rainy. You can assure her a million times she looks like royalty and that her auburn hair cannot be more perfect; but she won’t twist her arm, which makes her a perfectionist in everything she touches.
You may see her always wearing black clothes but I would dare to say that blue is her colour, like a deep blue sea that dangerously attracts you up to a point when you cannot keep investigating, keep going under, unless you have the permission.
What is more, although she counts with all the qualifications, she is not the show-off style of person. Her humble personality with the combination of a hard-working way of facing obstacles is what I like most.

Hola, llegue a este blog por Rod. Estas haciendo prof o traductorado? Yo hice el prof en Argentina (hace un millon de anyos)y mitad del traductorado y ahora vivo en Londres. Te recomiendo algo buenisismo que uso tanto cuando escribo mis ensayos para la uni o cuando corrijo ensayos de mis alumnos: googlea "cobuild concordance sampler" y abri esa pagina. Sirve para cuando tenes dudas de collocation o cuando no estas segura si estas traduciendo directamente del espanyol. Enjoy!
